Kick off the Festival Early with the US Premier of Reclaiming Cocoa
Join us the Sunday before the Midwest Craft Chocolate Festival for the first U.S. screening of this eye-opening film by Swiss producer Philippe Stalder. Discover the realities of cocoa growing in Ghana in this 2025 documentary, Reclaiming Cocoa.
After the screening, enjoy a tasting of chocolate made with Ghanaian cocoa beans and a live Q&A with the producer, Philippe Stalder, and Ghanaian farmer Nana Aduna II, who is featured in the film.
This Indiana screening is sponsored by the Arts & Cultural Council of Rush County and the Midwest Craft Chocolate Festival.
Location: The historic Princess Theatre, downtown Rushville
Film Tickets are $8.00 and include a taste of Ghanian chocolate.

Join us Saturday for a full day of chocolate-filled fun for all ages! Sample craft chocolate, explore cacao up close, join hands-on workshops, and meet the makers behind the bars. Bring the kids—our free Children’s Activity Center is packed with chocolate-themed fun. You can even get a head start on holiday shopping with creative confections from small-batch chocolatiers and chocolate makers. Everything is included with your admission!
